World-traveler, collaborator, underdog and hard-working man, Shotgun Jimmie stakes his claim for the hearts and minds of millions with his critically-acclaimed release Everything, Everything (You’ve Changed Records). In 2012, he appeared on John K. Samson’s release Provincial (Epitaph/ANTI) and toured across North America and Europe as Samson’s lead guitarist and opening act. Jimmie’s one-man-band has been an audience favourite at numerous festivals including Slovakia’s Pohoda, Pop Montreal, Halifax Pop Explosion, Sappyfest, Sled Island, Regina Folk Festival, Dawson City Music Festival, NXNE and Canadian Music Week. In addition to a nearly non-stop touring schedule, he has released four albums since 2007, received a Polaris Prize long-list nomination, and shared split releases with Joel Plaskett, Ladyhawk, and Attack in Black. His back-up band is a revolving cast of Canada’s best; musicians who have also played with Feist, DoMakeSayThink, Constantines, Ladyhawk, City and Colour and Cannon Bros.

Driving across relentless canadian terrain, falling asleep to game of thrones in our minivan in parking lots, medium coffees with milk, beef jerky, and spitz, last minute shows in jam spaces with hardcore bands, playing shows with our favourite bands, finding new favourite bands, playing show after show after show after show and then coming home and making records, and... packing the cooler and hitting the road.

Joe Vickers lives in seasonal rotation. He is a grain grower on the family farm by summer and during the long Alberta winters he commits himself to touring and the craft of songwriting. The travelling troubadour has logged countless miles sharing his songs with anyone willing to listen. He has toured across Canada extensively as the front man for folk punk group, Audio/ Rocketry and has backpacked across Europe with his guitar, playing everywhere from all-night bars to punk squats while utilizing all means of transportation from trains to hitchhiking. Over the years, Vickers has shared the stage with gypsy artists of a similar mind, from Trampled by Turtles to The Menzingers and Austin Lucas to Jr. Sisk.
