Friday June 24th the Saracens Head teams up with the Flinders Medical Centre for the next installment of our Karma Keg. Pints will be a note donation. The greater the note, the greater the Karma!!

'The Flinders Medical Centre Foundation helps make medical miracles happen in our own backyard.

We’re the fundraising arm of South Australia's Flinders Medical Centre (FMC). Donations and fundraising activities go towards funding world standard research, education, and improving facilities and patient care at the FMC.

There are over 400 researchers at the FMC and Flinders University in fields such as cancer prevention, heart disease, stroke research and Alzheimer’s in the world class Centre for Neuroscience, ophthalmology, obesity and much, much more.

These brilliant minds rely on the support and generosity of the general public through grants provided by the Flinders Medical Centre Foundation to get their ideas off the ground. Every dollar from every donation is 100% dedicated to vital research and care at Flinders Medical Centre.

The Flinders Medical Centre Foundation has also been the driving force behind the new Flinders Centre for Innovation in Cancer, a $30 million integrated centre which houses the very best cancer researchers and clinicians working collaboratively under one roof.
