Switch launch the first in a series of exclusive events featuring a selection of turntable technicians who have rocked Thursday nights at Thompsons over the years.

First up is London based Kiss FM presenter, DJ Swerve. A key figure at Kiss for the past decade, Swerve currently hosts his multi genre ‘Mix Block’ show on Wednesday nights and the station's flagship R&B show, ‘Kiss Jams’ on Sundays. Kiss Jams remains one of the most listened to shows in London featuring interviews with a host of urban music heavy hitters including Jay Z, Snoop Dogg, Beyonce, Kanye West and many more.

Beyond the airwaves Swerve’s dj calibre is second to none. He remains one of the few urban djs to have notched up two platinum selling mix compilations with his Pure Hip Hop & Urban Kiss mixes smashing through the 100,000 sales barrier. Swerve has played all over the world at numerous festivals and club night and has also been named DJ of The Year at the Urban Music Awards 2 years in a row.
