We're opening early this Tuesday for a special one-off show by Kurt Maloo at 7pm. This will be followed by our regular Tuesday night show, Tyler Yarema & His Rhythm, at 9pm.
Kurt Maloo, singer and composer, returned to the solo format after the duo “Double” disbanded in 1989. The albums “Single” (1990) and “Soul and Echo” (1995) both reverberate the streets of Paris, Maloo’s home from 1986 – 1993. After the sudden death of Double’s other half, Felix Haug in 2004, he released the album “Loopy Avenue” with eight new songs and four re-works of Double’s greatest hits, as a tribute to their corporate work.
With the album “Summer Of Better Times”, Kurt Maloo is now back with ten new songs and the old magic one knows from his worldwide hit “The Captain Of Her Heart”. His latest work is a fresh combination of jazzy melodies, light grooves and his distinctive, soothing voice, that has become a regular on radios all around the world.
