You will be the first one to know when pictures are uploaded!
Meeting outside LSU at 13:30 and leaving at 14:00 join us on a led walk to Beacon Hill, which boasts some of the best views in Leicestershire.
You can walk to the summit of this former Bronze Age hill fort, wander through the Native Tree Collection and Enchanted Labyrinth and scramble over some of the oldest rock on the planet. Children will love the Natural Play Area and watching the sheep, alpacas, pigs and cattle as they help to maintain the heathland.
Due to its great archaeological importance and wildlife value, Beacon Hill is legally protected. It is a Scheduled Ancient Monument and a SSSI (site of special scientific importance).
Please bring suitable footwear and appropriate clothing as the weather can be varied in Autumn in Loughborough.
