Good news for bad grrrlz*

+++ We celebrate all dykes*, lesbians* butches*, femmes*, kingz*, cis- or trans*identified, genderqueer, neither-nor, bi- and asexual etc. Friends* & allies* are warmly welcome! +++

For the first part of the night we are teaming up with Siegessäule and L-MAG: The renowned magazines are hosting a discussion about lesbian visibility in german society and the queer scenes. A diverse panel will review important and often overlooked topics such as ‚politics of exclusion‘ and potential counter-strategies and encourage the audience to take part in a hopefully critical and vivid debate. (The discussion will be held in german.)

Following this it‘s time for a notorious SchwuZ-Party: We want to celebrate lesbian culture in all its glory and various forms! Since the (mainstream) media‘s portrayal of lesbians* is often centered around mangy clichées, using labels like ‚ugly‘, ‚nasty‘ or even ‚evil‘ we are proud to present you our very own bad grrrl* gang (designed by Rory Midhani), here to smash societies worst fears by incorporating everything ‚they‘ think we are (when it‘s actually so much more <3). Let‘s DYKE OUT together for a very special night of lesbian* shenanigans with all our friends and acquaintances. Dykes* with trans*- or neither nor identities are obviously included as well, everyone else who wants to show support is warmly welcome.

The goal of the night is to empower dykes* in all their beautiful manifestations and to make a small but nonetheless important contribution to strenghten solidarity between intersecting queer communities! ♥
