Saturday, June 11th #TheNewTemple brings you another massive edition of Temple Saturdays, this time featuring the mainstage sounds of Lucky Charmes!
Lucky Charmes is making serious waves in the global music industry. What do Tiësto, Olivier Heldens, Calvin Harris, Martin Garrix, Mistajam (BBC radio 1), Diplo, Dillon Francis and Lucky Charmes have in common? They’re all loving and playing Skank, Fulfill and Ready! Lucky’s tracks #Skank #Fulfill and #Ready are all released on Tiësto’s imprint Musical Freedom and supported by all the big names in the industry. Recently Tiësto and Lucky premiered his new single #Ready in a packed LIV Miami during Miami Music Week, while playing an awesome back 2 back set!
With this new house sound Lucky Charmes creates a hype and a whole new style to amaze the scene. On his way up he has a load of productions waiting to be released. He already holds his place in the Dutch dance scene and he is about to fullfill his worldwide ambitions.
You can put this multi-faced DJ/Producer behind any turntable and he will express what music is all about. He has a history of releases on big labels like Spinnin’ Records, Musical Freedom, Fly-Eye Records, Mixmash Records, Flashover recordings, Cr2 Records, Sony Music, Universal, Blackhole recordings, Dirty Dutch Music, Samso beats, Vicious and offcourse his own label +31 Music.
Playing the drums laid the foundation for his love for rhythm and beats and turned out to be a solid base for his career. Which started with a helping hand from dutch house legend Erick E and after that he has shared agencies with Hardwell, Rehab, Vato Gonzalez and Nicky Romero. When he produced ‘Getcha Damn Hands Up’, he reached #1 in the Dance Tunes Top 100 chart and #8 in the Beatport charts, receiving tremendous support from DJ’s such as Bob Sinclar, Fedde Le Grand and Roger Sanchez. Follow up releases ‘So High’ and ‘Plain Dots’, both released on Samsobeats, also went through the charts and could count on frequent plays from Axwell, Sidney Samson, Gregor Salto and others.
Through the years he gets impressive support from colleagues in the industry and the word of his performances spread to the biggest festivals as Tomorrowland (Belgium), Dance Valley (The Netherlands) and offcourse the worlds biggest clubs and parties like Space (Ibiza), Liv (Miami), Escape (Amsterdam), Air (Amsterdam) Spinnin Sessions (Miami) and many more!
The gathered knowledge and skills he has for many different styles and his living and breathing for house music, has shaped his new groovy bass house sound. With this sound he attacks the global dancefloors and 2016 is his biggest year yet.
