Radar Vs Wolf:
Radar vs Wolf formed in 2009 around the talents of James Bratton and Tomás Gorrio (both on guitar and vocals). After releasing two EP's and touring for a couple of years the duo were brought together by a mutual friend with producer/drummer Mike Marsh (The Avett Brothers, Dashboard Confessional) and bassist Craig Schlesinger (The Remedy Session, Paper).
According to Mike, the first time the four met, "We all just hated each other immediately, so we decided it was time to do a full length record." HA! So the music business goes. The four recorded the first full-length Radar vs Wolf album in 2012, which was released July of 2013 -- self titled radarvswolf. Their second recording as a full band is set for release in mid 2015.
After the album release Craig joined James and Tomás on the road. The guys have toured steadily since using a rotating cast of drummers, and have focused their efforts on the South and East. Their travels have molded them into taco stand and bbq joint aficionados and authorities on truck stop candy selections. Their combined knowledge of minor van repair tactics and tricks could probably earn them certification from one of the finer automotive training centers in the country (sans the time a pit stop for gas in California nearly resulted in a crushed leg for Tomás). You can follow their travels on their Instagram page- we promise no photos of mangled limbs: http://instagram.com/radarvswolf
Since the release of radarvswolf, college radio stations have been steadily adding tracks to their rotations as they continue to log miles in their van. They have performed live on ABC's Talk of Alabama in Birmingham, and their songs have appeared on episodes of the web series Travel Tapes. The guys have also opened for national acts such as Matt Pond, Matrimony, Empires, and The Tontons.
In addition to music, James, Tomás, and Craig are passionate about a number of causes, which they actively try to raise awareness for while touring. "We're strongly in favor of empowering the individual above power concentrates. Ultimately, almost everybody wants the same thing in life -- to pursue their own goals and happiness in a peaceful, cooperative manner without outside interference. That's why we're proud to be involved with organizations like Students For Liberty, Students For Sensible Drug Policy, The Institute For Humane Studies, and The Foundation For Economic Education, all of which help promote individual liberty, free markets, and peace."

The Alarm Clock Conspiracy:
Join the Conspiracy...
We are an indie rock / power pop band from Asheville, NC. We have played hundreds of shows since 2009 and love what we do. The "conspiracy" which we speak of, is the fallacy that all humans must awake to a bellowing alarm clock each morning, only to rush off to work at a job that they truly hate. We are the spearheads of a revolution against day jobs everywhere. Our influences are drawn from the 60's and 70's, but have been adapted into modern, original music that has been exciting audiences and steadily building a crowd base of dedicated fans backed by high energy performances and genuine musicianship.
Born In The Morning Sun
Chris and Ian have been playing together as an acoustic act for almost ten years. In 2009 they decided to fill out the band with bass and drums. Enter Jamie and Wes. Since then, the band has been performing relentlessly in Western NC and the southeast. In mid 2013, we added John and his keyboards to fill the gaps.
Surrender To The World
In 2012, we released our first, self-produced album with the help of our friend and engineer Greg Sipes. That album featured Michael Guggino (Steep Canyon Rangers mandolin), Forrest Smith(pedal steel) and Isaac Wells(percussion) on several of the tracks. In January of 2013, that album drew the attention of a record label from Athens, GA and landed us a recording contract. They sent us to record with legendary producer/engineer/pro-tools guru, John Keane, in his studio in Athens. John has been in the industry for years and worked with the likes of R.E.M., Widespread Panic, Indigo Girls, and Warren Zevon just to name a few. With a gold and platinum winning producer on our side, we were on cloud nine for sure. Randall Bramblett (Traffic, Greg Allman Band, Steven Winwood, and countless studio sessions) also honored us by playing on two of the songs! We are titling the album, "Harlequin".
Fall Down
It was almost the end of our recording session, and we found out that through a string of unfortunate events, our label had lost all funding for our project. That news really hit us hard. We were left to find a way to save this album from being shelved forever.
So Far Away
The band was able to raise the money to pay the studio time thanks to a successful crowdsourcing campaign on indiegogo.com, and the support of our friends, family, and fans. The 2nd studio album is set to be released in August 2014.

Betting for Benson:
Hey, we're Betting for Benson. You may have heard of us, you may not. We love the music. That pretty much sums it up for us. Music has always been in our veins from the very beginning. Each of us has had our own attempts here and there, but somehow, someway, we've finally found the family we were looking for all along. Seriously, these guys are brothers to me. There's nothing we love more than getting together, either in the studio, in a practice, or on stage performing these songs that mean so much to us. Our hope is that maybe they will mean something to you, and that you take them home and make them your own.
We've been together for nearly 8 years now, and the music and the bonds are stronger than ever. However, we wouldn't be able to do what we love if it weren't for the people that come to our shows every night, help us run our merch table, do lights and sound, take our buttons and tshirts, and sing along to the songs. You are the reason we do what we do. It is your support and encouragement that has helped us believe we can do something with our dream.
I feel blessed to be able to do what we do. Coxey and I went to Kindergarten together, but it wasn't until late middle school that we started the band thing. Believe us, we know what its like to start from the bottom; we didn't even know how to play guitars and all we had to record was a 1979 tape deck and a $2 radio shack mic. Almost 14 years later, we're much more fortunate and capable of doing what we do.
But thank you for taking the time to look at this page, and reading these words. I hope you know a little more about us. If you want to know more....come to a show. Listen to the music. I like to think that's what describes us best.
Thank you for the continued love and support. You are the reason we do what we do. Keep coming to the shows, singing the songs, and rocking our socks off.
May the rock be with you.
