are a two-piece Melbourne based psy-dub-fusion band producing on-the-fly improvised brain melting psychedelia. Fusing organic tribal electronica with the analogue vibe of jazz and funk - every ScullaMooks track is improvised, has zero edits or overdubs and is recorded 100% live.
Hailing from Melbourne, playing a rich hybrid of very danceable live psytrance, electro and funky prog, The ScullaMooks are journeymen on a quest for the new electronic music paradigm. Using an electronic drumkit, samples created and triggered live, plus the brilliant texture of real analogue gear, The ScullaMooks are the summation of many different genres - jazz, psychedelic rock and trance. With a rough palate, The ScullaMooks paint their aural creation on a new canvas every time - fully improvised and 100% live every time. They fuse the precise world of pre-determined and sequenced music to the natural energy of spontaneity, improvisation and interpretation. Inspired by the occult insight, mental illness, visions of dystopia, and his wife Alison as his muse, this industrial and dark electronica project has been producing multi-faceted esoteric sounds since 2003. His work is a vessel for musical experimentation and inspiration unrestricted by genre, flirting with a range of electronic styles from industrial, dark techno, weird bedroom beats and electronica, breakcore to noise/ambient. Often tongue in cheek and an a reason for venting, & alleviating boredom, Fate Æffect’s live setup and production techniques change constantly and aims to create feelings in gyrations of sensory awareness.

The Asymmetric music project encompases an apreciation and creation of music with deep melody and crisp sound desighn concepts, tailoring to psytrance techno and break beat modalities of composition. It is the aim of this project to find and create electronic arrangements that embue classical and barogue dark melodies all the way to emotive soaring leads, with a combination of hard granular and modulated grooves and sound textures to arrive at a creative juxtaposition of modern and past time traditions of electronic music.
