Party: Club LED Newcastle, May, w/AVARIN, GRIM DEMISE, AETURNUS DOMINION, PROMORPHUS

After a break in April due to some ill-time Public Holidays, Club LED Newcastle is proud to announce the line up for MAY 2014.

AVARIN are a Progressive Metal band based in Sydney whose music runs the spectrum of heavy but melodic, to subdued and soulful, crafting adventurous arrangements around soaring melodies and thought provoking lyrics. Their compositions and arrangements are dynamic and adventurous and reflect their eclectic influences which include bands such as Black Sabbath, Fates Warning, King Crimson, Queensryche, Savatage, Rush, Alice in Chains and A Perfect Circle to name a few.

Newcastle's very own GRIM DEMISE make their 2014 debut at Club LED, and after a succeful tour of Japan, and several amazing support slots for the likes of Frankenbok, 8 Foot Sativa and Origin, they're more pumped up then ever to get your heads banging!

AETURNUS DOMINION have been stallwarts of the Central Coast/Newcastle metal scenes for over 10 years now, currently putting the finishing touches to their long awaited follow up to 2006's "Psychotic", the boys are hoping to gain some new momentum for 2014.

PROMORPHUS are the babies of the Newcastle metal scene, but that doesn't mean they can't pack a punch. Solid grooves, sweeping melodies, and some killer vocals are what you can look forward to from these guys. A definite "not to miss" band.

As always this year, our regular DJ, Rob Steggles, will be bringing you some amazing tunes in the front bar, complete with video clips and amazing visuals.
