Formula Student is Europe's largest student motorsport competition in which over 130 teams from 20 countries compete to design, build and race a single seat racing car.
Edinburgh Napier University are among the newest teams to compete at the Formula Student comptition. In 2014 we will be making our first entry into the IMechE run event at the Silverstone Circuit in Towcester, England. With the support of the Mechanical Engineering department we will be designing and manufacturing our very first car over the period of the next 9 months. However, taking a car to the event is no easy task which is why we need you.
We are looking for students from any year group, engineering and business disciplines or those with any experience with an automotive or motor racing background.
Formula Student gives you the chance to develop and demonstrate technical, engineering, design and manufacturing skills; team working, time management, project management, budgeting and marketing.
