Not only one of the UK's leading jazz talents in his own right but a founder member of both Eliza Carthy's 'Wayward Daughter' and Emily Wright’s ‘Moonlight Saving Time, trumpeter Nick Malcolm is something special - and on 23 Jul he teams up with the John Law Trio to explore the music of jazz legend Ornette Coleman, the visionary who pioneered free jazz in the late fifties and early sixties. Some thought Ornette was a lunatic, others a genius, and many eventually changed their opinion from the former to the latter. Come along and see which side you're on!
