Read more » Gay Friends In Calgary is a social club that celebrates unity within the community and provides opportunity to meet people who enjoy social activities such as sports, theatre and music, books and literature, fine and casual dining, travelling – and so much more. As an alternative to the bar and club scene, GFiC is not just for the gay community. Transcending the boundaries and celebrate the diversities of the gay, lesbian, bisexual, transgendered, queer and straight community, we encourage diversity from every citizen in Calgary. One thing we are not: a 'hook up' site. We are dedicated to the enrichment of life for GLBTQ people and their friends in our community. We look to our members to provide information on the kinds of social events they are interested in and we will assist them in the development, promotion and participation of each event.
