It's been three months since we've started this series and it's already time for the third edition of Sample & Hold! This date we are actually partly celebrating the record release of our second outing on the vinyl-only label as well - SH02. Unfortunately the artist in question Craig McWhinney can't join us to play this date all the way from Australia, but we have good artists flying in so there is no need to worry: EDIT SELECT is no newcomer to the global techno scene and has released countless records and remixes on labels such as Ostgut Ton, Prologue, Figure, his own Edit Select Records, and many more. Even before this project we all knew his tracks back in the heyday of techno as Percy-X, a name which pumped out classics which still cut it, on Soma Recordings either solo or together with Mark Broom. Our next Dj is the italian CHEVEL which is currently hot with his very unique and modern techno sound on mainstay labels Stroboscopic Artefacts and Non Series. HE/AT is a label and artist alike who popped up on the recordshelves last year and sold out everywhere fast! Resident DJ at Atomic Jam. If you were lucky to catch him doing his liveset at Berghain you'll know that we're up for a intense and oldschool techno set from someone in the know. Our final contribution to your night of dancing is Swedish rising techno-dj ANDERS HELLBERG. His concept is simple; no messing around and all tracks are always produced during live takes using analog machines and sequencers - Upcoming record on the influential ARTS. Let's see if he gives us an all vinyl set (we can only imagine so).
