ARCTURON lädt zur Geburtstagsparty der Extraklasse !

Neben DECENT DISASTER wird auch DARKANE aus Schweden anreisen um mitfeiern zu können und für ein unvergessliches Jubiläum sorgen.

Als wäre dies nicht genug, ist das auch der Abend für zwei Plattentaufen:
DECENT DISASTER veröffentlichen ihre neue EP und mit "Expect Us" bringt das Geburtstagskind ARCTURON gleich selbst das Geschenk zur Party.

Anstelle von DARKANE war ursprüglich AVATAR geplant. Allerdings mussten sie absagen. Hier ihr offizielles Statement dazu:

When you start a band and want to get anywhere with your band you quickly learn that noone can save you - you are the only one that can do the best job for the band. That's how I've been working in this band ever since we started. But now I have came to the, for a control freak as I, nearly painful insight that I have to let loose of control because we have reached the level where people around us actually can do a better job than I and that I'm only stepping on other people's toes. That's what have happened right now!

When I first got contacted by Arcturon about this show I was super excited! I did really want to do it, it felt like a cool show with a cool, hard working band that I have a lot of respect for! I had to really push the show towards our agents and managers that had something else for us in their mind, but I kept on pushing and at the end they had to accept what I wanted to do. So the show was booked, just as I wanted. What then have happened is that something else has came up, which soon will be announced, one of those offers you "can't refuse". It's not just another show, but an entire tour, on another continent. I can not explain how hard it was for me to realize that I, again, had stepped on other peoples toes, and that I would have to do the decision about turning down an offer that could be a turning point in our career or turn down the show we have promised to do with Arcturon. If I could choose I would have a double, doing everything - there are simply too many things you want to do. I am very sad to say that I had to choose to go with the latter. Also I have decided from this point I will just keep on doing what I do best - drumming - and let other people do what they are better than me on.

I can not explain how bad it feels, I have though met the guys in Arcturon personally and explained the entire situation and I am very thankful that they do totally understand us. I did really want to do this, and there's nothing worse than feeling you are disappointing people. I do really hope we will come back at some point, and do something together with Arcturon!! I hope everyone understands, and that the show will sort out very good even though we do not have the chance to be a part of it anymore. We are still very good friends with Arcturon, and will hang out some in the summer while they're recording their new album in Sweden - we wish them all the best and again - we are terribly sorry that we had to do this decision but hope people will understand. Hopefully it was the last time I had to do a decision that could disappoint anyone, and just keep on drumming in the future! That's what I do best!
