Formed in 2004, the band’s breakthrough debutRobbers & Cowards was released to considerable acclaim in 2006 featuring anthemic single ‘Hang Me Up To Dry’. The darker Loyalty To Loyalty followed two years later, while 2011’s Mine Is Yours introduced deeper qualities to the eclectic group’s catalog. 2013’s Dear Miss Lonelyhearts, featuring the hit single “Miracle Mile,” was a return to their raw live sound.
“Willett’s hugely impressive voice is the band’s calling card – there’s really no comparison,” said the Los Angeles Times. “Seeing CWK live is seeing them at their best. It’s a stage show full of raucous vigor… there’s never a dull moment,” said MTV News. Cold War Kids have sold over 500,000 albums, over 1 million singles and have more than 50 million streams to date.
