Party: Canapes for a Cause

Cost: $60 (please book and pay by 2 July)
$15 from every ticket sale, as well as the proceeds from our licensed bar, will go straight to the cause!

What's the cause?

Newport Surf Life Saving Club has just introduced an annual scholarship programme for two young Bronze Medallion Trainers & Assessors to travel to Soibada (a remote village in the mountains of East Timor) with the Pittwater Friends of Soibada in mid-July.

Our inaugural winners are Jessica Menzies and Lauren Budd. Jess and Lauren will be teaching members of the Soibada community how to apply First Aid and perform CPR. We hope they will enjoy the experience so much that they will inspire other young members of our club to become Trainers & Assessors.

On 8 July, we are asking you to round up your friends and join us for an evening of canapes (by http://www.seasoned.com.au/), drinks and entertainment (by Jazz Quartet, FLIP).

Proceeds from the event will go towards purchasing First Aid supplies and supporting other ongoing projects for the Soibada community.
