Party: INTENSIVE LINDY HOP WORKSHOPS - SATURDAY

INTRO TO 8 COUNT LINDY HOP (11am - 2pm)
This workshop is based around the 8 count rhythm pattern and in particular The Whip (or Lindy Turn) which is the foundation stone of the dance. We start from first principles teaching, lead and follow techniques, rhythm, footwork, movement and styling.

CLASSIC MOVES FROM THE MOVIES (2.30pm - 5.30pm)
This workshop is based around the original dancers from the films & shorts of the ‘30s & ‘40s such as "Buck Privates", "Maharaja" & "Groovie Movie". You will learn classic moves like switches, rhythm turns, flying hals & the dean’s wrap. We strongly recommend that people attending this workshop are familiar with the basic 8 count rhythm patterns and moves.

Partner rotation is compulsory on these workshops.

Single Workshop: £13 per person or £24 per couple
Both Workshops: £23 per person or £44 per couple
