It’s the final instalment of twopointzero in 2013 and what a finale we have. Gregor Tresher will be flying in to take control of the snafu ones and twos on Friday 15th November for another first in Aberdeen. Gregor kicked off his DJ career in Frankfurt in the early 90’s and can now be found playing everywhere from Berlin to Tokyo, Sydney to LA and of course from Amsterdam to down in the snafu dungeon in Aberdeen. His ‘big break’ came in 2005 when he was asked to remix Komm for Sven Vath which was quickly followed by a contribution to that years Cocoon compilation Full Range madness. From that Gregor’s production skills were in high demand and several releases followed on several esteemed labels including Intacto, Rebel One and Moon harbour to name check a few.

This year Gregor released a new studio Album titled Nightcolors on his own label, Breaking New Soil which did nothing but cement his place as one of the most prolific and influential artists in techno today. The album embodies the Tresher sound, floor filling peak time techno while also showing the darker electronica side to his personality. To accompany the release of Nightcolors Gregor has embarked on a global tour that has seen him headline some of the worlds largest techno and dance music festivals including Movement Detroit, Exit, Sonar, Lovelands and of course the Amsterdam Dance Event all of which will lead him to the hallowed turf that is snafu before finishing off this year at Timewarp.

twopointzero are delighted that he has agreed to come to our little corner of the techno globe during his album tour and while we wouldn’t want you to miss any of our events this one is definitely one not to be missed.
